On Tuesday (Feb.2) morning in Sunrise,FL , it’s being reported that FBI agents were killed and several others were wounded while serving a search warrant in a child exploitation investigation.
According to the MiamiHerald , the FBI has confirmed that two agents were killed and three others had been wounded. Of the wounded, two are reported to be in stable condition and the other wasn’t required to be hospitalized.
On the morning of the shooting, sources say, agents from the FBI’s child pornography division, was serving a routine search warrant to seize computers and other evidence in relation to their investigation of suspected possession of child porn. Aside from evidence that was obtained through the unnamed suspect’s IP address, incriminating evidence found in the home would have lead to a child porn charge.
The case involving the suspect ,who is now deceased, was being investigated by the FBI but was under federal prosecution in Ft. Lauderdale, FL.
