Political consultant and former Senior Counselor to Donald Trump, Kellyanne Conway, is being investigated by New Jersey police, after being accused of leaking her 16 -year old daughter’s topless photo.
The picture, which has since been deleted, was posted from Kellyanne’s official Twitter account, @kellyannepolls, as a fleet; a Twitter feature that is similar to an Instagram story. The feature allows for the disappearance of a users posts after 24 hours as opposed to a general post, which appears on the users main page and the timelines of it’s followers until deleted.
Kellyanne’s daughter, Claudia Conway, has become known on TikTok for speaking out against her mother’s political views. Claudia broke the news of her mother lying about negative COVID results in a viral video. The teen, who later tested positive, says she was infected by her mom who had been “coughing all around the house”.
Monday, in now deleted videos, Claudia responded to the leaked photo by saying “I’m assuming my mom took a picture of it to use against me one day and then somebody hacked her or something. I’m literally at a loss for words. If you see it, report it.” In the teens recent series of post and delete, she says the situation came about after she had posted videos to TikTok that reportedly shows her mom physically and verbally abusing her.
Kellyanne left the White House in Aug. 2020, shortly after her daughter Claudia went public with wanting to be emancipated from their family. Upon her exit KellyAnne stated, “…it will be less drama, and more mama”.
The case is currently still being investigated, as it deals with a minor certain details will not be made public.
