The Food Network has removed Season 20 of its series “Worst Cooks In America” from all platforms, following the arrest of its winner, Ariel Robinson, who has been charged with the murder of her three year old adopted daughter, Victoria Rose Smith.
On Jan. 19 Ariel Robinson and husband, Jerry Robinson, were arrested by the Simpsonville Police in South Carolina, for the Jan.14 death of three year old Victoria Smith. On that day police responded to a call at the Robinson household of an unresponsive juvenile, the toddler was then transported to a hospital where she was pronounced dead. According to the Greenville Coroners office the victim’s cause of death was due to “a series blunt force injuries”.

In Aug. 2020, Ariel, who was a retired middle school teacher prior to taping WCIA, won $25,000 and bragging rights for refining her culinary skills. After winning she exclaimed how the money would be for her family and changing their lives.
Ariel and Jerry Robinson are being held at the Greenville County Detention Center without bond, and face charges of homicide by child abuse, according to news outlets.
