“With profound sadness, Ora Media announces the death of our co-founder, host, and friend Larry King, who passed away this morning at age 87 at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles,” read the tweet that was sent out to inform the public of the media legend’s passing. Although no cause of death was stated, it is confirmed that King did have his final moments at the same hospital where he was reportedly held in ICU for COVID related issues earlier this month.
King was the voice of nightly news on CNN from 1985 -2010 with his show “Larry King Live”, its said that King has conducted about 50,000 on-air interviews, from world leaders to athletes and everyone in between. For more than a decade Larry King has been a staple in some of America’s most prominent interviews.

Over the years of being in media, Larry King has won 10 ACE Awards, an Emmy, and two Peabody awards which is given to “honor the most powerful, enlightening, and invigorating stories in television.”
