Nestle Hot Pockets On Recall, May Be Contaminated With Glass or Hard Plastic

On Friday Jan.15,2021 the U.S. Department of Agriculture and Food Safety announced it would be recalling 763,000 pounds of Nestle’s pepperoni hot pockets. The recalled products are suspected to have been contaminated with glass or a hardened plastic around the time they were produced in Nov. 2020.

The Food Safety and Inspection Service reports that the recall includes the 54 oz double pack of hot pockets, as well as the 12 count pepperoni product.

Contaminated products has a “best before” date of Feb.2022 and includes these lot codes 0318544624, 0319544614, 0320544614, and 0321544614. A USDA announcement stated that all product be thrown out immediately or returned to their place of purchase.

No major injuries or complaints have been reported at this time.
