UPDATE: A Brain Aneurysm Leaves Dr. Dre In ICU

Sources have reported that 55 year-old music mogul ,Dr. Dre, had to be rushed to an LA hospital Monday after suffering a brain aneurysm.

According to TMZ, Dre is currently being held at Cedars Sinai Medical Center in the intensive care unit. Sources directly connected to the legendary rapper and producer say that Dre is stable, but doctors are working to find out what caused the bleeding.

It is said that Dre is set to appear in court Wednesday for a hearing with estranged wife Nicole Young, more than likely the day will be postponed due to the current matter.

UPDATE:

In an Instagram post to Dr. Dre’s social media, he updates the public on his recent health scare,

“Thanks to my family, friends and fans for their interest and well wishes. I’m doing great and getting excellent care from my medical team. I will be out of the hospital and back home soon. Shout out to all the great medical professionals at Cedars. One Love!!” read the message that was posted late Tuesday evening.

Andre “Dr. Dre” Young is an original member of legendary rap group N.W.A. and a famed producer who has worked with some of the biggest names in hip-hop. His catalogue consists of artists such as Eminem, Snoop Dogg, Kendrick Lamar, Anderson Paak, and 50 Cent to name a few.

When the public first learned of Dre’s hospitalization, friend and original member of N.W.A., Ice Cube, was quick to show his support of the mogul by asking for the love and prayers for the “homie.”

There has been no information released on what caused the producer’s aneurysm, but he did assure his friends, family, and fans that he’d be returning home soon.
